Always reforming: How can we keep from singing?

Always reforming: How can we keep from singing?

Sermon Introduction –

God is the great Reformer, whose mercies are new each moment. As the Spirit sets about this work—in us, in the church, in the world—we participate as we are able, motivated by faith and oriented to love of neighbor. When challenges arise and our efforts fail, we can count on the grace of Christ to offer comfort and absolution in many forms. How can we keep from singing?!

Introduction to our readings –

Rooted in the past and growing into the future, the church must always be reformed in order to live out the love of Christ in an everchanging world. We celebrate the good news of God’s grace, that Jesus Christ sets us free every day to do this life transforming work. Trusting in the freedom given to us in baptism, we pray for the church, that Christians will unit e more fully in worship and mission
