| Welcome to the first Sunday of Fall and the 18th Sunday after Pentecost! As the seasons change, we gather to be grounded in God’s unchanging grace and love. Our readings this week draw us toward a life shaped by trust, humility, and genuine obedience. Psalm 25 lifts a quiet prayer for God’s guidance and steadfast love. Philippians 2 calls us to the mind of Christ—grounded in compassion rather than self‑interest. And in Matthew 21, Jesus reminds us that doing God’s will is shown not in words alone but in the choices we make.
