Seventeenth Sunday After Pentecost

Seventeenth Sunday After Pentecost

Introduction to the week –

This week’s readings draw us into the steady goodness of God and the shape of a life lived in Christ. We hear of a God whose kindness is constant and whose mercy meets us again and again. Paul speaks of a faith that is lived out in steadfastness and shared purpose — a way of life that strengthens the whole community. And Jesus’ parable reminds us that God’s generosity doesn’t follow our rules of fairness, inviting us to loosen our grip on comparison and receive grace with open hearts. Together, these texts encourage us to notice where God is calling us to live with humility, unity, and trust.

We hope you will join us for worship this Sunday, in person or online, as we gather in faith and community.
