Introduction to this week –
This week’s readings draw us into the generous, boundary breaking heart of God. Isaiah proclaims that God’s house is open to all who seek the Holy One; Paul reminds us that God’s mercy is steadfast even when we falter; and Jesus shifts our attention from external rules to the deeper truth that our words and intentions reveal who we are.
