Introduction to this week –
As we gather for this 10th Sunday after Pentecost, our readings invite us into God’s generous, sustaining presence. Isaiah speaks of a feast freely given, a reminder that God meets us with abundance even when we feel weary or empty. The psalm echoes that promise, celebrating a God who upholds those who fall and draws near to all who call. In Romans, Paul’s deep longing for his community reminds us of the bonds that shape our faith. And in Matthew, Jesus turns compassion into action, feeding thousands with what seemed far too little.
This Sunday we also share in Celebration Time, a moment when those in our congregation—and those joining us online—are invited to share the milestones that have blessed their lives. Birthdays, anniversaries, accomplishments, and moments of gratitude are lifted up, It is a simple but meaningful way we honor the joys that knit us together as a community.

Introduction to this week’s readings –
In today’s first reading God invites all who are hungry or thirsty to receive food and drink without cost. Jesus feeds the hungry multitude and reveals the abundance of God. At the eucharistic table we remember all who are hungry or poor in our world today. As we share the bread of life, we are sent forth to give ourselves away as bread for the hungry.
