Caring for Creation

Sermon Introduction –

Introduction to this week’s readings –

Our readings this week offer a sweeping vision of divine care, power, and presence. Colossians  reveals Christ as the image of the invisible God, the one through whom all things were created and in whom all things hold together, reconciling the world through his sacrificial love. Matthew  invites us to trust this Creator and Redeemer deeply, urging us not to worry but to seek first the kingdom of God, knowing that our needs are known and lovingly met. Together, these verses form a tapestry of assurance: the world is held, sustained, and redeemed by a God who is both majestic and intimately attentive.
