Introduction –
This Sunday we enter the season of Epiphany, when the church celebrates God’s light breaking into the world. The scriptures for this day speak of a dawn that scatters shadows, a vision of justice and compassion, and a world drawn toward God’s radiance. They remind us that God’s grace in Christ is meant for all people, crossing boundaries we often assume are fixed.
We also remember seekers who followed a star, discovering that God’s presence can appear in unexpected places and through unexpected people. Their journey invites us to look for Christ’s light with the same openness and wonder.
As we gather, may we be attentive to the ways Christ still shines among us—guiding, surprising, and calling us to reflect his love in our community and beyond.

We are sent out to be beacons of the light of Christ, sharing the good news of God’s love to all people.
