Introduction to the week –
As we step into this new week, the readings for the 13th Sunday after Pentecost draw us toward a steady center—God’s enduring faithfulness and the invitation to shape our lives in response to it. Isaiah calls us to remember the One who formed and sustains us; Paul reminds us that our daily living becomes an offering of gratitude; and in the gospel, Jesus’ question to the disciples asks us to claim again who we believe him to be.
Together, these scriptures invite us to remember who God is, who we are, and how our lives—unique yet intertwined—become testimony to the One we follow. They call us back to the foundation of our faith and forward into lives shaped by mercy, courage, and hope.
We would be delighted to welcome you into worship this Sunday as we gather around these scriptures, listen for God’s voice, and share in the fellowship of our community. Join us as we continue to seek, to learn, and to grow in Christ’s love.
