This first Sunday of Christmas, Deacon Lynn gives a message entitled, “Guided by the Spirit.” She shares that we are actually into the twelve days of Christmas now, which started December 25th. We may be tired of waiting, but compared to Simeon and Anna we haven’t been waiting long; Anna probably waited sixty years for her Savior before she got to hold him in her arms. Bottom line: the Creator of the Universe chose to take human form and dwell among us. Christ was truly born for this.
This program will guide you through our worship service.
Jesus Is Presented in the Temple
Luke’s narrative continues with stories that emphasize Jesus’ connection to Judaism. His family is devout in its observance of the law, and Jesus himself is recognized as one who will bring glory to Israel.

Thank you to our wonderful musicians, worship leaders, people behind the scenes and in the office. You have worked tirelessly and faithfully to bring these weekly services to us and I am truly thankful to you. You have kept me connected to my New Hope family during COVID-19 separation. Bless you for giving of your selves, your time and your talents.
