Sermon Introduction –
This Sunday as we continue in our Lenten series on prayer, we welcome Karen Ingram as our guest speaker. Karen will be sharing her message, “Praying With Creation.”
Karen has provided this introduction:
Scripture inspires us to regard the natural world as a sacred space and our neighbor. We are called to be in relationship with the planet we have been gifted by God, to care for it, and to live in harmony with it. Let’s explore how we can not only pray for the earth, but with the earth.

Introduction to this week’s readings –
Baptism is sometimes called enlightenment. The gospel for this Sunday is the story of the man born blind healed by Christ. “I was blind, now I see,” declares the man. In baptism God opens our eyes to see the truth of who we are: God’s beloved children. As David was anointed king of Israel, in baptism God anoints our head with oil, and calls us to bear witness to the light of Christ in our daily lives.
