Sunday of the Passion / Palm Sunday
Join us at 10a.m, Sunday April 13th, in-person at New Hope Lutheran Church (directions), or online. We will begin our service with palms waving, for a reading of the processional Gospel, when Jesus enters Jerusalem.
Holy Week – Three Days Service
Be with us at New Hope Lutheran Church on Friday, April 18th at 6p.m. Our service will combine all of Holy Week: Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday into one experience. This is our time to remember the last supper Jesus shared with his disciples, Jesus’ crucifixion, and his death and burial. This Three Day Service will draw to a close the season of Lent and will propel us into the celebration of Easter with Jesus’ resurrection.” We will be streaming this service, live.
Easter Sunday Worship – April 20th
A Community Sunrise Service will take place outdoors at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park, beginning at 6a.m. Pastor Steve Simpson will be giving the sermon. The memorial park is located at 5600 Lindero Canyon Road, in Westlake Village.
– The Easter Worship Service at New Hope Lutheran Church begins at 10a.m. Pastor Steve will be preaching and presiding over Holy Communion. All are welcome! This service will be streamed live.
– An Easter Egg Hunt will take place on the patio at New Hope, following our service, with the Easter Bunny joining us to delight the young, and the young at heart. All are welcome!
