Heavenly Hiking Fellowship

Heavenly Hiking Fellowship

Experts say that being in nature can boost your mood and improve mental health.

Join our Heavenly Hiking Fellowship on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 7:30 – 9a.m. We take a different trail each time, hiking for 45 minutes and then returning on the same path. These hikes include amazing trails with beautiful views and are easy enough for kids, but still fun for adults and we use rest breaks to give new hikers a chance to catch up. If you would like to join us, email Terry Paulson (terry@terrypaulson.com).  You will receive a regular email update on our next hike and directions for how to get to that trailhead.

Spending quality time in the great outdoors reduces stress, calms anxiety, and can lead to a lower risk of depression, according to a study done by researchers at Stanford University.

Note: Scheduled hikes may be canceled due to weather related concerns so please join Terry’s mailing list to receive notifications.

Our Heavenly Hiking Fellowship group recently hiked to the top of the Sugarloaf Summit overlooking Malibu Lake.  Their mission:  to replaced the tattered American flag. A new flag is now proudly flying for all to appreciate. Mission Accomplished!

Just beyond Lake Malibu lies a valley where the famous award-winning Mash television show was filmed. Some of the remnants from that show remain.
