Remote: God in Wild Places

Remote: God in Wild Places

Sermon Introduction

Today is the First Sunday of Lent. The change in tenor of our music signals a change of seasons from Epiphany light into Lenten reflection, repentance, and renewal. Today we follow Jesus from Baptismal affirmation to Wilderness solitude and temptation. In the solitude there is danger and temptation but also an encounter with God and divine sustenance.  God meets us in solitude and even in our remote and dangerous moments. Prepare for worship by changing your social isolation to solitude with God and join us for Pastor’s Craig’s message: Remote: God in Wild Places.

This program will guide you through our worship service

The Baptism & Temptation of Jesus

The Spirit that comes upon Jesus at his baptism sustains him when he is tested by Satan so that he might proclaim the good news of God’s reign.

Mark 1:9-15

Amazing Sermon! Had me saying “Eureka” to some events happening in my life that I don’t seem to understand at the moment. Thank you!
