Blessed Are We?

Blessed Are We?

“Blessed Are We?”

You may question why God’s blessings don’t always look like the world’s idea of blessings. God calls us to be merciful peace-keepers. That may not always be valued by all, but it certainly benefits those who experience God’s peace. Why? It keeps God’s kingdom near.  Deacon Lynn Bulock shares her All Saints Sunday sermon, “Blessed Are We?”

This program will guide you through our worship service.

The Beatitudes

In the Beatitudes, Jesus provides a unique description of whose who are blessed with God’s favor.  His teaching is surprising and shocking to those who seek wealth, fame, and control over others.

Matthew 5:1-12

All Saints Sunday

All Saints Day celebrates and honors all the saints who have preceded us in death. During the prayers of the church made during this worship service we remember our loved ones. A list of the names can be viewed here.
